One of the BEST!
This blade is SHARP and Smooth! After trying everything from Feathers which caused irritation for me to the Gillette 7 o clock, this, the Wilkinson sword and the Red Personas being in the same circle. Having a heavy beard I figured the Feathers would be the best being many people claim they are the sharpest, and I shaved with Feathers from day one and endured the irritation. Once I started shopping around and got a sampler pack it seemed the Platinum blades were the best. I switch around occasionally but this is one of my regular daily blades. As always, your mileage may vary, or your experience may differ from mine. Get a sampler pack and don't be too fast to judge! I use my blades in A Merkur 38 or a Edwin Jagger(the common model). I have a Gillette "Slim", though a great little shaver, start at a low setting with these blades, they are SHARP!
