A good choice I think
Having vague memories of Hitachi products not being that exciting -but dependable - in the past, I decided to pick this make for a TV recorder out of the numerous makes on offer out there. I was not disappointed -.plugged it in and it worked...no confusing menus, all were sensibly placed and so set up was a breeze. If your in a hurry going out then the menu mutton takes you quickly to where you want to go, then one click into the programme guide and another click on the red record button on the programme you have selected to record..and it's done! and all there when you return...you can set it record the whole series as well. it's been working perfectly for a couple weeks now but actually I expected that from Hitachi.
