Looks identical to taps fifteen times the price.
A professional looking piece of kit. But how will it wear? Only time will tell. Superficially it is a masterpiece, but its not yet fitted so I can only admire its good looks and hope that I have stumbled upon 'the bargain of the century'. Still, at the price, if it only lasts a year, I can't complain. Fingers crossed!!! 'Cautious optimism' are the words I would use!!

An excellent little heater with a surprising output
A tiny object whose effect belies its size! I was attracted to this having read the Which report. While its size may be diminutive, this in no way detracts from the powerful blast of heat that streams from this 'micro heater'. I think the result is further enhanced by the fact that the heat is directed almost at floor level, meaning that you are not left with cold spots round your feet as may be the effect with 'tower heaters'. I also like the fact that it is both discreet and inconspicuous. The thermostat seems to keep the temperature consistent to within a couple of degrees which is both welcome and quite surprising.
A bargain at the price. Cheap at twice the price. As long as it is reliable, I am a happy man!!

Save your hard earned cash - buy a thick battery charger
I realise I am lucky to own two S class Mercedes. An S500LWB, and an S600 biturbo. Bought a 408 to keep both batteries topped up during the winter when I don't take them out on salty roads. The S500 was fine. Charged it fully. But the S600. Brand new Bosch 100amp battery bought in September? Not a glimmer. All the test lamps lit but after two days no indication of any charge whatsoever. Called the Ring technical department Monday morning to ask them if they recognised the problem? 'Oh, yes!! It doesn't charge a 12 volt battery with less than 6 volts in it!'. Am I the only one that considers that to be 'as much use as a chocolate teapot?' I borrowed a neighbour's 'intelligent' charger. Result? Battery fully charged. My advice. Buy the dumbest charger you can find for the cheapest price, disconnect it when the battery is fully charged, and disconnect the terminal leads. And have a good night out with the money you save!!
