A Lost South American People and Their Wisdom
This is an account of how Alan Ereira managed to make a film, shown on the BBC, of the Kogi people of Sierra Nevada, Columbia and their ancient wisdom. The film was televised shortly after it was completed and to my knowledge has not been repeated, although it is extremely relevant to the 'green awareness' age in which we currently live. At the time of its showing I was unable to watch it in its entirety and tried without success to find a written account. That is until I listed the book and author on e-Bay and more than a year later I was rewarded with a copy from an American source.
This tribe of native South Americans managed to escape from the 'Conquistadors' and hid their society high in the Columbian mountains where many remain today, independent of the rest of the world – and praying for the future of our decaying planet. They refer to themselves as the Elders with their ancient wisdom and ways and frown upon the actions of the 'Younger people' whom they regard as vandals of the planet. This is a fascinating account of the trouble that the author endured in order to relay the message of the Kogi people.

A brilliant camera for every occasion
An amazing camera that is very versatile but not easily obtainable anymore. I have been using one since its launch and this was a very useful spare.
