Good Nano Skimmer
1 of 1 found this helpful I’ve had this skimmer running for around two weeks now. It’s now broken in and skimming the water perfectly.
Can be a little noisy at first and produce micro bubbles in the tank. You may have to keep an eye on the screw/bracket area that attaches the skimmer to the tank, as I found the bubbles were running down the back of the skimmer and dripping on to the floor. I decided to put the collection cup as high as it would go, which helped. And then gradually lowered it, once I saw the bubbles form in the middle chamber of the cup.
The micro bubbles soon clears once the skimmer has broke in. Mine took just over a week, in my 100 litre tank, to finally start skimming properly. And now no leaks from the back bit, with the collection cup on it’s lowest position.
Easy to set up. Would recommend this for tanks up to 100 litres.
