Well built swarm trap

The trap comes complete and is well built. Not spring yet, so cant say how it will do in the tree or at catching swarms, but it was a better alternative to me trying to build something on my own.

Doesnt get or stay warm

I got this a few days before my chicks arrived. I plugged it in and waited. After several hours, it was only barely warm to the touch and just inches off the ground, the bedding never felt warm. I couldn't put it any lower or the birds wouldn't fit. Since we keep the chicks in the garage, I went with my old heat lamp for fear i would loose too many chicks to incoming cold weather if I used this device. May try again with less chicks and warmer weather.
