The best substitute that does the job right
My Technics did not come with the original cover, so I needed to order one. The original is ridiculously expensive. Some acrylic covers look very attractive, but they are not cheap too, and they are very very heavy. I bought Decksaver because the price is reasonable and was prepared for it being tacky and easily breakable.
To my surprise, it looks sturdy (but I did not stand on it to test) and transparent. And its light!!! I never thought the joy of being able to entirely and quickly remove the dustcover without lifting my bigger muscles can be this significant. It is not the best looking cover in the world for sure, but it works and the price they ask for is reasonable. It may not be a bad idea to remove your original cover and keep it safe and replace it with Decksaver for everyday use. Great product!
