The engine runs, but not as it should.

I bought the engine as described as runs well in both directions, but it didn't. The engine would run for a few minutes then slowly stopped running. I contacted the seller, and told them about the problem with the engine. I asked them if they would mind me giving the engine a service, but they did not reply. I gave the engine a service, it runs better than it did, but still not running as it should. Thanks.
