  The lid does not sit properly. It is not mentioned in the description. While the picture shows lid askew I presumed it was just placed incorrectly. This is not an accurate description of the item. For $90 I would have liked to have made an informed decision. It is a miracle this item arrived intact. The packaging was haphazard as you can see in the attached photos.

  I agree that USPS did badly damage the package. However, the fact that the fragile item contained within the package was not damaged, is a testimony to my careful packaging. As far as the lid not sitting properly, I did not view it as a flaw; but rather as a feature of hand blown glass from the era. I could indeed be wrong in that assumption, but since the buyer did not contact me with their concerns before leaving neutral feedback, I was unable to address those concerns.
