SCART to HDMI converter

I looked around for a device to enable me to play my old SCART output HDD recorder into my new digital TV which had only HDMI inputs. This conversion cannot be done by a simple cable, as SCART is analogue and HDMI is digital, so an active converter unit is required. After some research I went for this item. It arrived on time and does the job brilliantly ! Heat was mentioned as a consideration in the articles I researched on this issue, but I must say that this unit and its power unit both run cool. So far I am delighted with the performance, delivery and price and can now enjoy all my old recordings which look great up-scaled on my big new telly.

Concise, helpful and useful.

I would say that this is a good learning resource. The little book was clear and easy to read, well set out and the content is relevant and useful. I liked the idea that it was split into various sections, transport, eating out, sightseeing, shopping etc and also that it shows the phonetic spelling to help pronunciation. Of great use is the accompanying CD which gives the exact pronunciation and useful for playing in the car etc. Like any phrase book, it has limitations and you wont be speaking fluent with a comprehensive knowledge of all things Spanish. But it is a start and a good addition to your learning library. Prices vary so shop around.
