Very well made!
Well made lifter. Easy to install after Googling the instructions (the ones that come with it are useless). Looks really smart and made lifting the cover so easy!

Outstanding Strength
5 of 5 found this helpful I needed to repair a limestone fireplace which I bought on eBay. One of the thick side pieces was completely broken into two bits. The fireplace weighs a tonne and I wasn’t sure if this would be strong enough to handle a repair without the pieces already being installed or if it should be done in situ. It turns out it was easily strong enough. Impressively strong in fact. The colour wasn’t a close enough match for an invisible repair which bugged me. It was much paler. So I drilled out an area on the back of the fireplace which enabled me to collect some limestone dust. The resin from the repair I’d already done sank back enough that I was able to go over my repair with another fine coat. By mixing the limestone dust in to a small amount of this resin before adding the hardener until I was happy it was a good colour match, then add the hardener, I was able to go over the top with a perfectly colour matched finish. The resin leaves a gloss on the limestone which I was able to scrape off with the edge of a Stanley knife blade. You would never know it had been repaired now. It looks amazing. It worked so well that I ended up doing various other chips on the entire fireplace including corners of the mantle. They’re as hard as nails. I can’t believe how strong this stuff is. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
