Useful Gluten free bread
1 of 1 found this helpful Good standby for anyone who can't eat wheat, barley and rye. Has a cleaner taste than most of the GF breads. It is more like a German rye pumpernickel bread. You need a good palette knife to separate the slices. To my taste I avoid the millet version which has an unpleasant "farmyard" aroma and taste. This type of bread is a little pricey but I rely on it. First introduced to it at a hotel in a remote area of Greece. They kindly bought it to meet my dietary needs. I tracked it down on line in the UK.
It is useful for making GF canapes.
