Big functions in a little package
This, relatively, small camera packs a mighty punch. Crammed in its tiny frame are many features found on much larger bridge and even SLR cameras, allowing you to go from fully automatic to fully manual easily. The 18.2MP CMOS sensor, paired with the 30x optical zoom of the Zeiss lens, gives crystal clear images - even when pushing the zoom to the full 60x with the digital function. I have tried this camera from macro shots of flowers in the garden, to the full extent of the zoom and not been disappointed. The differences from the newer HX95 are minimal, making the lower price of the HX90 even more attractive. I highly recommend this camera - especially if you want a small, but powerful, package for travelling/holidays.
