Theatrical version only on VHS.
The theatrical version of The Last of the Mohicans is only on VHS. The dvd (1999) extended version and the Director's Definitive Cut on Blu-Ray (2010) are not what was shown in movie theaters in 1992. This is a great and underrated film, and now I have all 3 versions.

A film worth viewing.
Excellent portrayal of a victim of a serious illness and the toll it takes. I'm a big Madeleine Stowe fan, and she always does quality work. This is one of her best.

Great Latin Jazz
Poncho Sanchez played with the Cal Tjader band for many years, and he pays tribute to his former boss. He puts his own stamp on the musical choices, but he brings back memories of the great Cal Tjader who left us all too soon. If you love Latin jazz, as I do, you will enjoy this cd. Poncho is one of the best conga players in the business, and he doesn't disappoint.
