Beautiful!
Caran D’Ache’s Neocolor II Water Soluble Pastel Crayons are one of the most beautiful mediums that I’ve used. They are in a solid form, but when water is added to them, they release a gorgeous shimmery color. They retain their color even after they dry, though they are most vivid when they are layered, allowing each coat to dry, then reapplying until you reach the level of color that you desire. They are not cheap, but they are worth every penny. I tried a less expensive alternative, and I was so disappointed, as it did not hold it’s color, nor did it release it from the paper, the strokes were left behind, while the water just sat in pools around it. Buy the Neocolor II water Soluble Pastel Crayons, you’ll love them!
