vintage sat-nav unit
Kenwood GVN MIB1 is aftermarket solution for sat-nav for VW cars equipped with Composition Multimedia music&phone system, in production between 2015 and 2017. People complain about complicated installation, but such is the nature of devices built into cars as aftermarket equipment. Units at this seller have 80% discount since it is about out-of-production item.
This product works perfect for technically oriented people, others can complain about issues with map upgrades.

great satnav in-dash impression, unpractical for maps refresh.
the product adds satnav to VW composition media. installation can be tricky (space, wires length, dash disassembly/assembly), access has to be given to the satnav unit, for maps refresh. experienced hackers can refresh maps from torrents for free.

good value when the HP nx9420 starts misbehaving.
i bought this motherboard since my 6 yrs laptop developed erratic network behavior.
the HP service is out of parts. my HP nx9420 is besides the mentioned error perfectly preserved. buying "new -other" motherboard is the only viable option to prolong the life of the lap top.
board exchange is fun for engineers, it might be complex work for non-engineers.
"new-other" board compared to HP repair: less pay, more fun.
i believe, boards marked as "new" do not exist for a 1996 lap top.
