Best M.2 Enclosure so far
I've tried 3 enclosures and so far my experience with this one has been consistently the best by far. Build quality is great and the M.2 connector is brilliant (raising it off the board but keeping it secure, so great for double sided M.2 SSDs and heat dissipation in general). The supplied USB cable is nicely made and a good size. The transfer speeds are very good and the most consistent of any of the 3 enclosures that I've tested (testing on various machines and various USB ports of each). This is especially noticeable on the '4k' and '4k QD32' tests.
Even though it doesn't have the holes in the chassis that the Startech enclosure has it seems to stay slightly cooler so far and this could be down to the larger surface area of the enclosure itself. The size is a little bigger than most, but I don't think it will offend anyone. It's still way smaller than a 2.5 inch enclosure. It does makes it slightly easier to put together too.
Comparison 1: Startech's one (the most easily accessible model falls short in may of these areas, whilst being a bit slower and considerably more expensive. Performance was generally OK, but it fluctuated a lot between different ports on each PC.
Comparison 2: I also just tried a USB-C to USB-3.1 enclosure which I bought hoping it would support a PCI-e M.2 drive. I don't think it does but I'm sill not sure of that. It does take the same SATA M.2 drive that I tried in the other two enclosures, so it probably doesn't support PCI-e... Anyway, this one was more than double the price of the one I'm reviewing here (almost as much as the Startech). It's nice and thin. Similar to the Startech the performance was generally OK, but it fluctuated a lot between different ports on each PC. The main problem with this enclosure was that the drive had no screw for the M.2 attachment, so I had to dig around in boxes until I found something that fit. This was probably an oversight, but it was annoying.

Broke when trying to remove it
The fit was too tight. Trying to get it off made it snap

Small & sharp, but overpriced, with a weird hood.
2 of 3 found this helpful I love this lens but still after 3 years it's the only decent small AF lens for the A7. That keeps it desirable but we could do with a couple more lenses like this. For what it is it's a bit expensive and the lens hood is a bit annoying. Filters that don't fit underneath it mean you have no lens cap, which is not ideal. The 40.5mm cap is also too easily lost. If the hood/cap situation was resolved, it came with a case (like the 55mm Zeiss) and it was £400 rrp then it would be a 5 star product.
