Not Aluminum
This adapter is made to look like aluminum but is actually plastic. Nothing about it will lower the temps of your drive. It works, but it’s built to be an imposter.

Weak Lock
Tape had weak lock since day 1. Every time you try to measure something you’re fighting the tape to keep still. Stands out further than most though I guess. Just annoying to use.
