Early-retired in 2011, I started clearing out the airing cupboard with the best of intentions - until I came across my old Scalextric box! After seeing the huge interest in Slotcars on eBay, I began buying, restoring and selling cars in Nov '11.

Excellent Slotcar replacement motors
I've now purchased 15 of these little fellers; great replacements for the widely used classic Scalextric (and other makes) Mabuchi SP short-can motor.
Some of them look a little dull, as if they've been laying around the stockroom for a while, but I'm pretty sure they are "New" - not re-conditioned or reclaimed.

A milestone of F1 history
Sometimes you have to sell an item on eBay in order to remind yourself how much you liked it and miss it. That's what I did a few weeks ago with my edition of this model - and then fairly promptly bought another one!
It's an absolute milestone of F1 history, a beautiful example of a short-lived engineering folly and I don't suppose the high wing will survive the first off, but these are toys to be played with after all and it will look nice doing battle with my high-wing McLaren & Brabham 2-car set.

Buy cheap, pay twice.
Worked for approx 1 month, now push/twirl side button not working. Unfortunately, product is now in Brazil, so no redress possible.
