Low Quality Rubbish
Can guarentee that this EGR will fail inside of a year, it suffers from the same issues most pattern parts do, which is the tolerences and machining are sub parr.
The middle drive gear inside the motor housing has about 1-1.5mm of up and down movement, which causes it to rattle. This slop in the gears causes additional strain on the main gear that operates the valve, which will eventually lead to it shearing the pins and jamming open.
The second issue was due to substandard machining on the part there are loose shavings of metal which would be ingested by the engine on startup.
The only thing this EGR was useful for was parts, i took the drive gear that had failed on my original jaguar EGR out and the motor and put them into my EGR.
This isn't the first pattern part EGR I've seen the problem on, and like the others would probably fail inside of a year.
