Good quality at the right price.
A fatasic piece of kit. My main reason for using this is that when using an ordinary mouse I inevitably end up with a severe pain in my wrist. Due to the wrist being immobile when using a track ball, this does not happen. The scroll ring on this type of track ball is worth the extra cost. My last track ball did not have it and it becomes a head ache to have to use the scrolling bar at the side of the screen and means far more functionality if using windows. Quality is very good and it feels as if it will last many years of hard use. The buttons are soft touch and do require a bit of getting used to if you have experienced the cheap clicky type. Yes you can get cheaper that this (and a lot nastier) and, if you spend ten times as much, you can better. But this track ball ballances good quality with affordability and so ticks all the right boxes.

A must for gamers
My stock cooler, on my GTS450, died. With a little modification to the stand off pins I was able to fit this cooler (the heat sink has so many fitting holes that it fits almost all Nvidia cards with a little extra work). My stock cooler ran at 30 c at idle and 60c when gaming. This cooler runs at 33c idle and at 38c when gaming. So to every day users there is no benefit, but to gamers who push their graphics the benefits are immediately obvious. There is no plenty of scope for overclocking should I feel it necessary and I no longer have to worry about being close to melt down temperature (95c). The other good thing is that when I next upgrade my graphics card, I will replace it's cooler with this and so justify the cost of this unit.
