Has solved my log splitting problem
2 of 2 found this helpful I need to split logs for my wood burner but when obtaining largish bits of tree I find that my splitting maul/axe is difficult to use effectively and seldom splits logs with one stroke, more often getting stuck in the wood. This log splitter is very robust and has split all of my logs with no problem. There is a bit of a learning curve e.g. often it is necessary to add another log or brick to the pushing end if the log is short and sometimes the angle of the log needs rotating if the blade is struggling against a cross grain.
