Worth the extra money
Top notch product. Creates a smooth and controlled ride without being harsh. Made my Aspen drive much smoother and more controlled on the road especially at highway speeds. Great shock choice.

Best value in a used car HANDS DOWN!
5 of 5 found this helpful I purchased a 2001 Lincoln Conti and love it. My previous vehicles have been Lexus ES-300, Toyota Avalon, Chrysler Concord, Infinity I30 & Honda Accord. I have to say the feature list is extensive. More then in any of the other cars.
Here is what I like:
Looks very classy, very reliable, handles extremely well (not as good as the Infinity I30 but very close), tons of interior bells and whistles, very comfortable seats (front and back), nicely laid out dash (uncommon for an American car), fantastic sounding stereo, lots of interior lights (adds atmosphere), Extremely smooth trans (on par with the Lexus and Avalon which are extremely smooth), keypad entry (can leave your keys in the car), fit and finish is excellent (on par with any import), lots of controls on the steering wheel (and they light up), very smooth ride without affecting cornering, nice real wood trim (nice touch), huge trunk, and a very easy car to drive and gets respectable gas mileage (I get 25 mpg on the highway going 75 MPH with the air on and 22 mpg mixed city and highway).
Here is what I dislike:
Please keep in mind that no car is perfect. These are the things I would have done differently: Center radio and climate controls should be angled to make it easier to use, the radio seek feature on the steering wheel only seeks to the presets and not the next available station, some of the bells and whistles are difficult adjust (not intuitive), no express window up, dashboard is a little bigger and bulkier then some of the imports, no telescoping steering wheel, gas and brake pedal are a little far for me but not bad (I’m only 5’6”). Some of these things are just being picky but I figured I would mention them.
Conclusion:
If I purchased this car new for $40K I would have been a little disappointed. Outstanding value if purchased used. This can be purchased for the same price as an Accord or Civic. It will be almost as reliable and is 5 times the car hands down. Find one in nice condition that was maintained and it will be an outstanding purchase value.
