Good neck, but may need some work
1 of 1 found this helpful I haven't put this neck on a guitar body yet, nor have I finished it. But it looks and feels very straight and solid. The only thing that needs attention is that all of the fret wires stick out on the sides enough to catch my fingers. The frets will need to be dressed. I'll either have to pay a guitar tech to do it, or order an expensive fret file, and do it myself. For a regular builder of guitars, this won't be a problem, as I'm sure an experienced luthier can dress the frets in a matter of minutes.

Beware that it adjusts opposite of original headlight
I found out by practice that this headlight adjusts up and down in a different manner then the original headlight. On the original, you turn the adjusting screw clockwise to raise the headlight beam higher. On this replacement, you have to turn the adjusting screw counter-clockwise. There should have been some instruction sheet pointing out this difference.
As for the light cast, it is kind of squared off and uneven, almost to the point of being a distraction while driving. But it will suffice, for a product that is significantly less expensive than an OEM part.

Looks good. Beam is acceptable but not great. Beware that adjustment is opposite of OEM headlight
I found out the hard way (turning until the mechanism broke) that this headlight adjusts up and down in a different manner then the original headlight. On the original, you turn the adjusting screw clockwise to raise the headlight beam higher. On this replacement, you have to turn the adjusting screw counter-clockwise. There should have been some instruction sheet pointing out this difference.
