Very good quality and good value compared to other high-end lenses.
0 of 1 found this helpful This lens was bought as a back up lens for a safari for use on a Canon 7D whilst my main system was Canon 5D mk ii and Canon 500mm F4.5. It is optically excellent. The only reservation is that without image stabilisation if needs to be held secure either with a tripod or, as in my case, beanbag. The quality that can be achieved makes it a good value purchase.

Decent cord
It is a good thickness cord for light pull. I took a long time searching for a longer than standard length of cord and was happy to find this at 150cms. HOWEVER, it was actually only 138cms. It might not sound much different but this was for a high-ceiling room and every cm makes a difference.
