Ambient synth heaven!
Beautifully produced ambient soundscapes.

Space rock instrumentals to soothe the soul
The Spacelords are a German trio of musicians who play bass guitar, lead guitar and drums. There are other percussive and synthesized sounds but in essence they are a three piece band with years of experience between them.
The tracks are all instrumental so there is no singing and no jyrics.
The style of music can loosely be termed 'space rock' but it is the interplay between them which is so appealing. At times they sound ponderously heavy, only to be followed by a sensitive delicacy. Their sound should appeal to those who enjoy Gong, Ozric Tentacles and Hawkwind as long as you don't expect singing.
The album the standard length of an LP: 40 plus minutes; the CD has no extra tracks. Spacelords are on a mainly vinyl - only label Tonzonen which generally have limited press runs. I bought a CD copy as it was half the price of the LP.

Grateful Dead in full flow from 1971
3CD set for £9.99 is a very good price. The music is from the classic Grateful Dead era (1971) and the playing and singing is outstanding. So with free postage this was a great purchase.
