A good buy for any budding paramotor pilot.
I bought this book on the advice of experienced paramotor pilots. The book is well written and explains the principles in a logical order.

Adaptable and convenient for light use
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought this specifically for use with motorcycle engines, unlikely to exceed 100kg by much so well withing the stated capacity. With a couple of simple brackets (drilled angle) I was able to mount a Triumph Thruxton engine to the rotatable plate. With this 90kg load, I could slide the T leg a few inches back through the main frame and out of the way of my feet when working on the engine.
The rotatable plate has a locating pin with holes at 60° intervals. If the engine is not mounted with its centre of gravity close to the axis of rotation, it can be quite a strain to rotate even a 100kg with the short handle supplied.
I am not convinced that this would be suitable for use at the maximum stated load of 450 kg, especially with long engines (straight 6 or 8). The whole engine weight is cantilevered from a welded joint at the rotatable plate and another at the base of the main mast.

Low cost pump ideal for home workshop
For the cost, this appears to be a perfectly serviceable pump for home workshop use. It will pull an indicated 30" vacuum in a 5 litre vessel in around 30 seconds.
Note that the 'oil container' included with the pump is just a thin plastic bottle and is not suitable for use as a vacuum bleed reservoir etc. The pump requires filling to the marked level with suitable oil before use.
