Well worth the read.
The life of Charles Edward Stuart post Culloden is not at all clear and unambiguous. This book is well written and removes the uncertainty referred to.

A good read.
The book is well researched and well written. A very comprehensive account of the situations and details surrounding the Duke of Cumberland.

Journal reproduction
Having once owned the original journals it is possible to compare these modern reproductions against them. They are good and, of course, very much cheaper. The records of these early polar explorers are worth keeping and this is a good way of making them available.
