Plug in and done no messing
Reading the Firestorm owners forum about the Honda regulator and it's short comings I was a little hesitant to buy this modified Honda part.
It still does not use MOSFETs but has some extra metal fining to help with heat dissipation time will tell if it lasts.
I opted to buy it because of the 1 year warranty and the ease of it being a plug and play replacement. It is a 10 mins job to fit and after firing the engine up checked with my multimetre showing a 14.28v charge rate so all good for now.
