A beacon of beauty against the odds.
This is a fine memorial to a great artist. That he was able to create a beautiful home and garden in such a bizarre austere environment is in itself a work of art.
The book is a collection of beautiful photographs with accompanying text. I bought this for a friend and she was very pleased to receive it as a birthday gift.

Still a Coney Island baby.
Re-visiting this old Lou Reed album is a joy.As well as much better production values, the songs all stand up to the test of time.The addition of previously unreleased material is great.Lou painted his home town with sympathy and style.
