Royal purple product line express quality,this oil fillter is just another example of that quality!
The research said it was best to handle synthetic oil with the media it was made from. It also has a check valve to keep it full. Now philosophically speaking it is purple, all things purple are fantastic products!

Great Value Fantastic Truck
The Blackwood like the Edsel is a fantastic vehicle that just missed the mark due to the finicky attitude of the car buying population! Too much car, not enough truck or too much puff and not enough tuff! In 2002 the cost was prohibitive for most of the car buying population. Why pay $54K for a truck you can't use like truck, or car that looks like a truck. When similar vehicles are available for half the cost. That is the reason for the demise of the Lincoln Blackwood. Now 13 years later the deprecation price has the Blackwood is affordable. If you find one like I did $19200 for a vehicle with 31k miles. I now can afford the luxury truck with a carpeted bed, stainless steel lined covered with a power lift cover so it more like a trunk rather than a truck bed. In the cabin you find the front bucket seats heated or cooled as needed for your comfort. You won't get lost with the on board navigation unit. Though buying updates could be made an easier process, the 2002 maps will do if the roads haven't changed too much. Because you can adjust the seats, pedals and steering wheel to conform to your personal comfort, then pop in 4 CDs, a long ride becomes a comfortable joy instead of drudgery. The biggest drawback is the V8 engine sucking down 1 gal of 91 octane fuel every 17 miles. In town it is 12 miles to the gallon. Overall the Blackwood is a fantastic truck/car. In the used car market they are now realistically affordable.
