Soldering Iron Electric 30W DIY Hobby Electronics Plug In Mains Powered Solder

Not what I was looking for
This soldering iron is advertised for hobbies. I bought it wanting to use it to solder jewellery findings. It came with no instructions. The power lead is way too short - you need the plug on the working surface to be able to use it. It also doesn't have a fine enough tip for what I wanted. I couldn't get the solder to stay on the tip, despite going through numerous You Tube videos about priming the soldering iron and how to use it. It just ended up making a mess. It is well made but probably more suitable for home repairs than hobbies.
