henna hair dye
I used to use shop bought dye - eg the main brands but as I have become older I found the main brands for hair dye began to really irritate my head. I am not ready to show off my grey but I was worried about a bad reaction to putting chemicals on my head. I decided to give henna a go and I have never looked back. While it is messy to use and takes longer than the shop dye's, It doesn't irritate my head and I get loads of compliments on the colour. When I tell people its henna they seem confused. After the initial dye, to do my roots I use about a quarter of the box so the box lasts about 5 months. My hair is long - just past my shoulders and so this is so economical as well.
