Are you Being Service? Same jokes, repackaged in a different place.
“Are you Being Service?” one of the most beloved programs of British Television history. Like so many other loved classics, it seems they never made enough and the seasons flicker by on DVD. Such beautiful chemistry and unique characters... and they should never be “rebooted” in to some kind of horror show that happens constantly in today’s world that is void of original ideas. The “Are you Being Service? The Movie” still captures the same successful situation and loved characters.. however even for so long ago, so many of the jokes are totally recycled almost criminally by it's own makers of this same magic. I can only imagine what it was like to go to the cinema with such anticipation at something new and fresh from the actors you love so much and it's just pieces of old scrips in a different situation... a stage land far away from Grace Brothers. I can watch the series over and over again and never be disappointed. I was disappointed at this movie at least in the aspect of the writing and it's creators. Such a shame. A wasted opportunity to do something far better. I’m still happy to add it to my collection.

A wonderful little naughty cartoon... just for us grown kids.
I’ll be the first to admit my tastes are a little odd sometimes... but why did the Brak show get canceled other then the endless narrow-minded suits that have zero talent and yet claim to know everything about entertainment?
Adult Swim seems to have some kind of life-bleeding force on cute and naughty little cartoons like this one, yet the most annoying seam to live long and never go away. Live action, on a cartoon show? Rocket science! Not. These are not cartoons for little kids! Yet they are funny enough to make us grown up kids laugh. That means they work. leave them alone. Poor Brak only lasted 29 episodes and yet you would have a hard time finding another title in the Adult Swim catalog that had so many funny shows and so few bombs.
The only really bad thing about this box set was zero extras. I was very disappointed. They even made mention in the last scene of the last show that the show was canceled... then they should have made some kind of effort for the loyal fans that loved the show so much... like me and so many others. Still, is it worth owning? If you are a fan, no question! Buy it NOW. Not because I said so, but Zorak said so. Muhahahahaaa.

Dont buy this product!
1 of 1 found this helpful This "book" is a BOOKLET. Not a real book. Its tiny. Large print, hardly educational. A total rip-off not worth 3$, forget what I ended up paying for it. Money thrown right in the street. You would sooner learn 100x more by watching just one "Moonshiners" show.
