NEW Replace MPX3V F250AD-00 250W Unit Power Supply For Dell Optiplex 390 PSU
07 Feb, 2019
Works well, just needs longer cables.
The unit arrived quickly and in good packaging. It seems reasonably well made but it is slightly different from the original in that it doesn't have the electrical test button that was actually quite useful in determining the problem with the previous supply, but more importantly, doesn't quite have a long enough set of power cables to reach around the edge of the motherboard and sit in the clips provided in the case. I had to route the last cable across the board past the CPU to get it to reach the far side, but once in place it fired up and ran just fine. Just a few extra inches of cable would give the review another star.
Windshield WindScreen Double Bubble For Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird 97-06 Black BK

Looks good and works well enough but needs spacers for bolts
I bought this as a test really as I don't like a lot of double bubble screens and wanted to see what the Blackbird looks like with one fitted. I'd rather spend £18 as a test before forking out £70+ and still not liking it. I'm sure I can re-purpose it if needed. Good: - Reasonable dark tint. Looks black in most light but a very dark brown in some light when looked through. If I notice it too much, may spray a light coat of black on the back. - Slightly different profile from the original Honda low swept back screen, with a low level bubble which I like so doesn't look ridiculously high. - No marks or artifacts in the plastic showing (on mine). - Reasonably easy to fit with minimal coercion. - Fit is reasonably snug and doesn't move when bolted in (as long as rubber washers/spacers used). - Packaging was reasonable with sheets of plastic and foam around it, no box. - Ridden it and cleaned it a couple of times now without any obvious scratching, but it does seem less robust than the original. Not so good: - Thinner plastic used (about 3.5 instead of the original 4.8) and original screen has thick raised bolt hole depth that this doesn't. - Biggest issue is bolt holes are not thick enough plastic so spacers/grommets needed. - Edges not all well finished/smooth but not too difficult to clean up. - Edges closest to the rider have tendency to vibrate slightly due to thinner material but not really obvious or distracting while riding. - No instructions, but it's only 6 bolts, and you only need to take care with the front most ones that need threaded grommets that can drop out while removing/fitting. I used the grommets from the original screen as this didn't come with any. Overall it looks pretty good and a road test didn't show up any real problems either. Biggest disappointment was the uniform thickness, whereas the original Honda one had deeper plastic built up around the bolt holes to pad it out without the need for fiddly spacers. I'd expect a £70+ one from MRA or Puig to need less corrective work, but I've never bought one so don't know.
1" Ball 12mm Hexagon Hole GPS Mount for Honda Blackbird / Kawasaki Motorcycles f

Well made and easy to fit
Simple design, doesn't look out of place too much, and fits really snugly into the Blackbird yoke hole and tightens to a solid wobble-free fit without having to over-tighten. The ball itself is not the rubberised type that the RAM balls have, but has a rubber ring around the centre and once I'd clamped my TomTom Rider 400 bracket and mount to it, it was as solid as I'd hoped for. With the GPS attached to the mount I was worried it might be too close once I was riding, but it's actually well positioned out of the way and I'm able to see all the instruments easily. The TomTom bracket and mount have a lot of adjustment so if I want it high or low or off to one side, it's easy to adapt. Very pleased so far.
