Both broke after just over week
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm a stone mason who looks after hs tools really well. Both tapes completely broke after a week the 8m and 5m broke from a 3 ft fall onto uncompressed loose hardcore, so nothing very hard. Its completely cracked all the way around before bursting when picked up same issue with the 5m to. Also the 5m started getting jammed after 3 days use in a relatively clean environment. Used to love stanley tapes but quality has gone down to budget supermarket value. Definitely advice spending abit more on better quality like I'm going to have to. I'll never use Stanley products again what a waste of 10 pound.
