WIDE means THICKNESS - not LENGTH of bread

Alas, the "Wide Slot" means THICKNESS on this product. Based on the photographs I had thought it was actually WIDE as in LONGER than a piece of commercially baked, square sliced bread. I'm sure it's excellent but although the extra WIDTH is commendable, a LONGER slot would have been nice. Ah for the days of the Sunbeam T-35 series........
