Good little radio for the money.
Not a bad little radio for the price. We know it’s not real wood, but it has a pleasing appearance on our kitchen worktops. Setup was straightforward and operation of the features is simple. DO study the manual - it's all there. I don’t know how many stations it scanned, but as I listen almost exclusively to Radio 4 and local for traffic, weather etc., I’m not particularly bothered. Reception on both FM and DAB is good. The sound seemed a bit “bassy” to my old ears, but I’ve got used to it after a couple of weeks.
The familiar problem of “bities” ie. a voltage on the aerial originating in the tranformerless mains adaptor is present. If I run a dry finger up and down the aerial when it’s turned on, I can feel a slight tingle. Also a mains tester screwdriver, can be made to glow in a subdued light by touching the aerial. This is generally regarded as harmless, and is not a problem exclusive to this radio, Overall, I would recommend it.

Perfect tool for the job.
Penetrating oil, screwdrivers, pry bars, wooden blocks and hammer, hot air gun and every dodge on Google, but the wiper arms on my Mk4 Mondeo would not budge.
I realised that the time had come to spend a few pounds on a proper puller.
It was delivered very quickly, and it had a nice chunky feel. I put it over the arm, adjusted the taper nut and started screwing it down. I've got pretty strong hands and wound it down as hard as I could without result. I slipped a box spanner over the tommy bar and genuinely thought that I would bend it, such was the pressure I was putting on. Suddenly, with a terrific bang - I'm sure the car shook - the arm came free. The other arm was not quite so tight.
I could not have done the job without this great little tool.
