Expensive and heavy but nothing else can touch it for quality
1 of 1 found this helpful This lens is perfect for wedding photography. Razor sharp to the edges even at f2.8. I recently tried the new 24-120 f4 VR lens but although it is very good at what it does, it cannot quite match the overall quality of the 24-70. Images seem to jump out of the frame quite unlike anything else I've tried.

its a cable for gods sake....nothing glamorous but it works fine
