When replacing this unit after removing ...
When replacing this unit after removing the old one you may find that the device on the app still displays the old battery low alerts. I decided to take the device off base and left it overnight. The alerts for the low battery cleared and the once connected to the base the off base alert cleared. I believe this is a useful way to use the smoke alarm device, only provided that the device was new at the time. I had a problem after I purchased these 3 months ago when it displayed low battery alarms
