Priscilla queen of the desert
Atmospheric yes, but not a patch on Bagdad Cafe!! Apart from some brilliant landscapes and super costumes, it was OK but not memorable.

La vie en Rose
I was glad that it was presented in french with english subtitles as this gave the best opportunity to appreciate the acting, and there's no doubt that the acting was good. I found the time slips between memories a little demanding on my concentration;but then I'm not getting any younger...
I suppose it would have taken many more hours to cover her many loves, and the full complexity of Edith Piaff, but still, I couldn't help feeling a little disapointed that so much of her life was all together missing from the film. Didn't quite hit the spot for me.
