Very good phone, but...
I got the S8 soon after the release. It gives the first impression of a modern, beautiful phone. It looks so nice and feels so pleasant in touch that you will regret covering it all up in a protective cover, which you should do as it attracts fingerprints on the back like magnet. It is also prone to nearly visible scratches at the back.
Perfect screen. You can ask for more than this. Colours are vivid and the resolution is more than you would ever need. It is also made from good materials and doesn't get scratches on it easily.
Battery life is one of the biggest advantages as it can last for more than 24h.
What I did not like is that they spent too much time on Bixby which essentially is useless and I only used it on the first day to play around. After that, I haven't touched it since. The Bixby button is a minus, but it can be remapped through a 3rd party app for other things.
Selfie camera has autofocus which is both a curse and a blessing. It can be hard to focus it right sometimes. It also gets dirty way too easily.
What's also annoying is the edges as you press them by accident when you hold your phone.
Overall, a good buy and I enjoyed having this phone for over 6 months. I decided to go back to iPhone, not because S8 was bad - it's up go my personal preference of iOS.
