Without it your car wont run.....
What a piece of engineering from Tamiya, makes a change to see metal gear boxes rather than plastic or composite materials used.
This is machined to perfection and is a direct replacement for the kit original part, This is designed for the newer re-released SRB's from Tamiya and I am not sure if it will fit an original 1980's car, I have not tried this myself as my original cars are in excellent condition for their age...

Just what you need!!
This is just what you need if your intention is to use Two airbrushes at a time, the tank is large!!.
I have ran Two airbrushes off mine for a good few mins, just air blowing through to test the capability for my needs and the pressure only dropped a little on the delivery gauge and was very stable after that all the way through my initial test of the compressor.
At a certain point the compressor kicked back in to top up the tank and then auto switched off when the tank was full again.
I have used PTFE tape on all my feed connections and I only have a slight air leak from the water/collector filter I have before my airbrush but this is because this has a plastic screw thread to metal, where all others are metal to metal joints, I will try this again with a little more PTFE tape around the threads.
Overall this is a great small compressor, and it can be used for air tools too, not that I will try these out I needed a reliable compressor with an expansion tank for model painting.
