Good for a back up.
This works fine for a back up and will easily fit in a dry suit pocket or BCD. I would definitely recommend it for this use.
However it is small so when fully inflated has a low buoyancy and I can easily pull it under water and reel it in.
If you plan on hanging off this while at your safety stop you may need to go for a larger one.
Oral/ LP Inflation works really well and it holds fully inflated over night with no pressure loss.
Using an octo to inflate can be more difficult as it has a small opening.
