Lightweight and cleans well without the mess of the big carpet shampooers.
1 of 1 found this helpful Great product! I purchased this unit to replace my first sonic duo which lasted several years. It really cleans carpet well, especially with the pre-treatment spray and the scrubber pads for tough dirt & stains. It's a low moisture system so doesn't leave behind the wet mess that some of the larger carpet shampooers do - had one of those and they always left dirty water behind on the carpets. They do recommend that you use the system monthly to keep carpets looking good.
Don't have much experience using the sonic duo for hard floor cleaning (includes separate pad and cleaning solution for hard floors) but have cleaned a tile floor with it and it worked just fine. I have not used it on hardwood flooring.
This unit will not mean you never have to get your carpet professionally cleaned, but you can greatly reduce the frequency!
