great idea and concept
it is pretty nice to have the new decibel meter to calibrate all my output volumes. I have a hand held that does pretty good as well but it has to be held/placed in exactly the same position or you get different results. Since this plugs into my mixer, it is getting the line level output to read from. It also is nice not to have to use the big heavy isobar I have been using. I still have one power outlet left after everything else (including rack light) was plugged in! Great idea and I think everyone should have one!

1 of 1 found this helpful IF you own a Digitech GSP 2101 effects processor, then this is the product you need. It doesnt work with anything else.
But IF you have the Digitech GSP2101 then it is a perfect way to backup and load patches. Yes, you can do more, but it is a stand alone program. Other midi capable software doesnt have the exact control over the 2101 as midiwizard but can handle more midi devices at the same time. Since midi wizard is specifically for 1 product, you cant use it to control anything else. So if you have a 2101, it is a must have.

good product for any studio
I haven't actually used it to record anything yet but I have used them before. It's cool that it's rack-mountable so I have it right next to my patch panel. one drawback is that presonus should have mounted the power switch on the front of the unit, instead its in the back and not easily reached. I have to unplug it when not in use.
