Nice quality headphones

These are are comfortable set of headphones and compare well against my austrian audio hx55s and sony mdr 1as but not as comfortable as my dt700 pro x .I would definitely recommend these as portable headphones and they sound better via a headphone amp .Definitely worth a try .

Well worth the price once you upgrade the cable to balanced

Nice set of headphones for the money ,but I would recommend getting a balanced cable for these as it definitely improves them.They compare well to my hd580 and hd650 but these two have a slightly better definition on the base side.i am running mine through a monoprice amp fed via xlr cables from a audiolab cd8300

Very good headphones but not for general use

Amazing set of headphones better than my hd650 on balanced cables and also better than my sundaras and my hd580 jubilee and akg k702 .The downside is that they will show up bad recordings and they require a decent amp and perform better with balanced cables .I'm only using these at home and my source is an audio lab cd8300 into a monoprice thx headphone amp via xlr cables .I would definitely recommend these headphones as they reveal stuff that I have not heard on certain recordings abd you can loose hours with these headphones. My daily use headphones are focal listen pro or oppo pm3 both closed back for use in the outside world
