Time on my hands
It was harder work than I thought to fit this clock into the body of my old small clock housing. I had to persuade the old hands to fit as hands supplied where to long for me. Got there in the end though. It's very satisfying to see this clock set itself up & know its dead right! I would buy again.

Peltier device *****
These 3 devices arrived on time and well packed & are good value for money. The side with print on is the one that goes cold in operation (+ve to red lead) you can check this between finger & thumb with a 1.5 volt battery if you wish. DO NOT run the device from 12 volt (about 5 amp 60W) unti it is mounted on a big heat sink with a fan on the 'hot' blank side or it will burn out. For those interested the cell measures about 5 ohms at room temp (21C). Rember it can be used as an input device as well (like a thermocouple or solar cell). This device is the same type used in those mini fridges so if you find a scrap one you will have all the parts needed. If you reverse the leads +ve to black lead (It's ok to do this) it will heat up instead of cooling.

They work okay
Quality is fair for the cost.
