Strapping it down

For items that could blow out of the back of a truck, it works very well. I've also used them to strap stuff to my four wheeler and to my backpack ... works well. And for things that you roll up (maybe a small tent, sleeping bag), it's far better than the strings that come with them.

Worked well

These have worked well with towing. Also worked well with pulling on trees to down or very large limbs to get them out of the way.

Lightweight and compact.

This may not be the emergency tourniquet that some want. However, there are many using these now. They are compact and easy to carry and easy to use. I have several in different places, like my outdoors hiking, car, house ... you name it and it doesn't take up much room. I have put one on to see if it would stop the blood flow (lack of pulse in the wrist, or little pulse, and fingertips get tingly). I believe it will work well. And it is adjustable if needed to be loosened or tightened.
