Motivation and extremely inspiring documentary for personality build up
Surfwise is a really interesting documentary about the biography of Dr
Dorian Paskowitz. Basically the plot is that he retires from his medical practice in his early 50s and chooses to become a full time surfer, he had maked sure that none of his children went to school at all and spend their entire childhood full time surfing only. they won several awards in contests. What makes the movie extremely inspiring and motivational in the end is that, despite the fact that his children were not academically gifted and didn't have a strong solid ground in education, they still become successful people in practical jobs, Like one of his son opened a special surfing school for children with autism to teach them. Other one became a musician. After watching this documentary it uplifted me and build my thought that just because someone does not too well in school or is unable to go to university due to low marks, it is not the end of life, you can become extremely successful in practical jobs just like all his children did.
